About the IGNOU Online MCA Course

IGNOU online MCA programme is affiliated with the School of Computer and Information Sciences. IGNOU MCA course is a two year course and the mode of lanaguage is English. From this course students will get the specialization in Computer Applications. The MCA course is divided into 4 semesters. In the semester system students will have courses like Software Engineering, Web Technology, Cloud Computing and IoT, Mobile Computing and Discrete Mathematics. 

The IT and Technology sector is booming Internationally. IGNOU MCA programme is valid for Indian as well as International Institutions. The total fee for IGNOU MCA is INR 50,800 and INR 2,000 for the bridge course. IGNOU conducts the Online MCA admission in two phase in a year January and July. Phase one starts in January and Phase two in July. For the July 2025 academic session, IGNOU is going to begin the admission process again for their Online MCA and along with other online programmes on 12th May 2025*. • The fee for each semester is INR 12,500 candidates have to submit the 1st semester fee with registration fee. 
• IGNOU registration fee is INR 300 for MCA Programme.
• The exam fee is not included in it. IGNOU will ask for the examination fee at the time of the submission of the IGNOU exam form fee is INR 200 per subject. 
• The students who want to enroll in the IGNOU bridge courses have to submit INR 2000 extra at the time of admission form filling process.

Here are the steps to follow:(NOTE: DEB ID is mandatory for IGNOU admission process)

• The eligible candidates visit the official portal of IGNOU https://ignouiop.samarth.edu.in to start the admission for Online MCA course.
• First, you need to fill out the registration form for the admission process. 
• In the registration form fill in the following sections Username, Applicant’s Name, Email Id, Mobile No, and Set a strong password for the IGNOU student account.
• Now log on to the IGNOU website and submit the personal and educational details for the admission form.
• After that candidates need to choose the programme code which they want to study in the Online MCA course
• After that, candidates need to upload the documents. Like: 12th Marksheet, Graduation Certificate and Identity card.
• Then the payment portal will open to pay the registration and admission fee.
