IGNOU MA Hindi Admission 2025: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will start the admission process for Master of Arts in Hindi (MHD) on 12 May 2025*  for the July session and the last date will be 30 June 2025*. Applicants who have a strong command of Hindi language or want to pursue a career in Hindi literature can definitely register themselves for this program.

The total fee for a Master of Arts in Hindi is INR 15,400 and fee for the registration is INR 300. An applicant can pay his fee in two installments i.e. INR 7,700 annually via credit card, debit card and internet banking.

Applicants who want to enroll in this program must fulfill the eligibility criteria of Indira Gandhi National Open University. These are the eligibility criteria for the enrollment into the MHD:-

• An applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from any UGC Approved university.
• Also, an applicant must have completed their 10+2 from any recognized board. 
• Candidates who belong to the reserved category (OBC, SC, ST, PwD) have a 5% relaxation in the marks for graduation.
• Also, a candidate must have a good command of Hindi language
• There is no age limit for enrolling in this program.

For admission at IGNOU’s MA Hindi program, a candidate must follow these steps to avoid any mistakes while filling out the application:-

NOTE:- DEB ID is mandatory for submission of application. Please create your DEB ID before starting the application process.

• Students have to take access to the official portal of Indira Gandhi National Open University @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. for the admission forms.
• Now on the left side of the page, you will see a column of new registration. Click on the new registration and fill in all your necessary details. 
• After the registration log yourself by filling username, password, and captcha. 
• Now fill out the online form for admission by uploading all the necessary documents which are required. 
• After uploading all the documents, applicants have to pay the fee via debit card, credit card, and Internet banking.
• Now, you will receive a mail of enrollment no. by which a candidate could check the access to the application status.
• Don’t forget to download the confirmation receipt.
