IGNOU Jodhpur Regional Centre: The Indira Gandhi National Open University established the regional centre in Jodhpur in 1985. The aim was to develop, provide, and promote progressive learning, requirement-based training, and other skill-building programs in the Jodhpur region. IGNOU is a trend-setting and pioneering university for individuals seeking better and affordable long-learning solutions. The senior regional director of this centre is Dr Sachin Shridhar Sukhadeve.
The Jodhpur RC covers 13 districts in Southern and Western Rajasthan. These districts are Udaipur, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Pratapgarh, Pali, Nagour, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Dungarpur, Bikaner, and Barmer. The learning centre has 66 learner support centres under its jurisdiction. It includes 26 regular study centres, 4 jail centres, 6 special study centres, and 34 program study centres. The regional centre provides a variety of programs for all individuals, such as awareness, diploma, postgraduate, undergraduate and other programs.

- IGNOU Admission will commence for the 2025 July academic session at the Jodhpur Regional Centre for all the offered courses, students can apply from 12 May 2025*.
- For the July 2025 academic session, IGNOU Re-registration procedure will start on 5 May 2025 at the Jodhpur regional centre. Eligible students are requested to complete the re-registration by visiting the official portal @onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU Jodhpur Regional Centre Admission Updates 2025
The admission to IGNOU online and open distance learning programs will commence at the Jodhpur regional centre for the July academic 2025 July session from 12 May 2025*. Applicants who are keen to interested can visit the official website @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Individuals interested in any program at the university can apply before the last date 30 June 2025*.
Online admissions require all scanned documents with the fee payment through net banking or credit or debit cards. If you are new to the registration process of IGNOU, it’s best to read the below steps.

IGNOU Jodhpur Regional Centre Admission Process 2025
- Visit the authorized website of Jodhpur regional centre rcjodhpur.ignou.ac.in.
- Next, tap on the “Student Corner” button at the top left side of the page.
- Here, at the left side list click on “Admission”, to access the next page click on “Student Services”, and click on “Admissions”.
- Now, click on the program type you want to enrol in to get prompted to the IGNOU Samarth site, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
- Once there, register as a student. Enter your name, email address, and mobile number, and create a username, password and other details to complete the process.
- Verify the account by logging in using the user ID password and captcha.
- After this, fill up the form, choose a program, and upload the documents like a category certificate from the reserved category, educational qualification proof, identity proof, signature and photograph of the student, etc.
- Lastly, pay the registration charge of INR 300.
