IGNOU Jaipur Regional Centre: This RC began operating on December 16, 1987, and initially, it was established in Kota, but in 1990 it was moved to Jaipur. The RC received the award of the University Gold Medal for Best Service in 2017. The senior regional director of this facility is Dr. Mamta Bhatia.
The RC at Jaipur was established to promote distance education in the remote regions of Rajasthan and democratise higher education to the doorsteps of interested individuals. There are 20 districts under its jurisdiction. The centre has 32 regular study centres, 8 B. Ed learning centres, and 13 jail student centres. The areas the regional centre covers are Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, and Churu.

IGNOU Jaipur Regional Centre Admission Updates 2025
Candidates from the Jaipur area can apply online for the upcoming July academic cycle from 12 May 2025* for IGNOU Admission at the Jaipur Regioal Centre. The online application on the official site ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in will be available for all programs. Students have to register on the portal, choose the program they want to learn, and pay the fee of INR 300 through net banking or any other methods mentioned on the online page.
All applicants will get a confirmation message on their registered mobile number after completing the application. Make sure to read the below stepwise online admission process to understand the process.
IGNOU Jaipur Regional Centre Admission Process 2025
- For the July admission, go to the Jaipur regional centre authorized link rcjaipur.ignou.ac.in.
- From the “Announcements” section click on the fresh admission link to access the IGNOU application link ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
- Students can also apply at the Jaipur regional centre, but the online application is easier. The first thing you have to do is to complete the registration. Click on “Click here for new registration”.
- Provide the user ID, password, applicant’s name, mobile number, email address, and verification code and by clicking on “Register” sign up as a student at IGNOU.
- Next, proceed to login entering the username, password and the captcha and click on “Login”.
- Complete the online form adding the necessary details.
- Choose the program you want to study at the university and attach the required documents like the category certificate of the student, educational qualification proof, scanned signature and photograph of the student, and other details. Make sure to acquire the right sizes of the documents.
- After paper submission, pay the fee of Rs. 300, using UPI, net banking or debit or credit cards.
