IGNOU DNHE Course Details

The duration diploma in nutrition and health education is 1 year and the total fee is INR 3000 at IGNOU making it accessible and affordable for the candidates. Candidates have to pay an additional fee for the registration for INR 300 which has to be paid at the time of the admission.

This course has 32 credits that includes four courses that are Nutrition for the Community, Public Health and Hygiene, Nutrition and Health Education, and Project Work: Nutrition and Health Education. The diploma is also offered to provide extra qualifications to the learners, assisting them to improve their promotion chances and professional efficiency.

This course is offered in both ODL and online mode by the School of Continuing Education (SOCE) in the English language.

Indira Gandhi National Open University will starts the DNHE admission from 1 June 2025* into the July session. Interested candidates can visit the official website of IGNOU ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and fee for the registration is INR 300. The last date will be 10 July 2025* for IGNOU DNHE Admission 2025 July academic year.

Rather than filling an admission form online a candidate can also fill the form offline by visiting the regional center of IGNOU. To fill out the form offline candidates have to submit the hard copy of the IGNOU admission form, their required documents, and the fee at the centre.

Steps for to Apply for IGNOU DNHE Admission 2025:-

NOTE:– DEB ID is mandatory for submission of application. Please create your DEB ID before starting the application process.

  • Visit the official website of IGNOU @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Click on the new registration option.
  • Now, fill all your necessary details required like Username, Mobile no., email id and enter the verification code.
  • After filling in all the necessary details required, register yourself for admission.
  • Now, log in with the newly registered account by accessing “Registered User Login” mentioned on the right side of the homepage.
  • Now enter your registered username, password, and captcha, and finish your login process.
  • After the login, it’s time to Upload all your scanned documents carefully.  
  • Before submitting the admission form a candidate should keep in mind to preview the form again to avoid any mistake in the admission process.
  • Now, submit your admission form and make the payment for the admission via credit card, debit card and internet banking.
  • After the payment for admission, the candidate will receive a mail on their registered mail ID or mobile number confirming the successful submission of the application.
  • The application will get reviewed by the official authority of IGNOU and the candidate will get a mail on his registered mail ID to join as a student if he gets selected.

  • Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
  • Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
