IGNOU CCH Admission 2025: The university of open and Distance Learning IGNOU also offers certification courses in the healthcare sector. Certificate in Community Health (CCH) is the One certification course which Indira Gandhi National Open University offers.

This course is designed with the collaboration or funding of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) to enhance the skills and knowledge of the learners who are providing community healthcare services. This certified course is only offered to state government-sponsored applicants (registered nurses, Ayurveda, and RNRM practitioners) who are selected by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHWF).

Also, an applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in BSc nursing, PB BSc nursing, GNM, and BAMS. There is no age limit for enrolling in this program. The admission date for the Certificate in Community Health (CCH) will be 12 May 2025*. Eligible Applicants will get the admission forms on the official website of IGNOU i.e. @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The last date for filling out the IGNOU CCH admission form will be 30 June 2025*. Certificate in Community Health (CCH) is offered in the English language by the School of health sciences at IGNOU. The fee for the registration is INR 300.

IGNOU CCH Course Details

IGNOU CCH program covers a total of 18 credits out of which 8 credits are theory and 10 credits are practical. It has two theory courses and 1 practical course. A candidate studies Common conditions and emergencies, Laboratory investigations, public health, Maternal health, Yoga and health, Nutrition, Health and hygiene, Newborn and child health, Reproductive and adolescent health, etc in this program with enhancing their skills.

After getting a certificate a candidate is ready to serve as a Health Promotion Specialist, Community Health Worker, Social Worker, Health Educator, Health Program Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Community Outreach Coordinator, Health Policy Analyst, Health Services Manager, Public Health Advocate, and many more.

The duration of the Certificate in Community Health Government (CCH) Oriented course is 6 months and the total fee of this program is INR 15,000. Other than this the fee for the registration is INR 300.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will open its admission windows for their Certificate in Community Health (CCH) for the July session on 12 May 2025* and the last date for the CCH admission will be 30 June 2025*. • After the registration, open the homepage of the site and click login on the right side. Fill up your name and password correctly.
• Now, fill out the admission form and upload all necessary documents carefully.
• Before submitting the form candidate must keep in mind to preview the form to avoid any kind of mistake.
• After rechecking your form, submit your form.
• After the submission, pay the fee via credit card, debit card, and internet banking. 
• Now you will receive a confirmation mail on your registered mail ID through which you can check the status of your application form.
