IGNOU admission 2025 last date will be 10 July 2025* into the July session. The total Tuition fees of the BPP program at IGNOU are INR 1,200 including the registration fee of INR 300. Applicants who have completed their 10th and are 18+ can enroll in the BBP program of IGNOU.

IGNOU BPP Course Details
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) BPP program, helps the applicants to pursue their higher studies just after completing their 10th. IGNOU prepares the applicants to face the challenges and builds the necessary skills required to excel in the highly competitive Business Field.
The Bachelor Preparatory Program (BPP) program covers subjects such as the Preparatory Course in General Mathematics (PMG), Preparatory Course in Social Sciences (PSS), Preparatory Course in Commerce (PCO), etc., and the aspirants have to select only two subjects.
IGNOU offers BPP Courses through Online and Distance Mode (ODL) so that the applicants can learn at their own pace and can also earn while pursuing their degree.

IGNOU BPP Eligibility Criteria
To gain admission into the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria which are as follows:-
- Age Requirement:- Aspirants who are willing to enroll in a Bachelor of Preparatory program must be 18+ or older with no upper age limit, which makes it accessible for working professionals to complete their Higher Education.
- Educational Qualifications:- Candidates must have completed their 10th from a well-reputed state/central board with 50% of marks from any stream and applicants from reserved categories (SC, ST) have a relaxation of 5% marks.
- Basics of English Language:- Applicants must have a basic knowledge of writing and reading English skills. There is no need for formal language certification.

NOTE:- DEB ID is mandatory for submission of application. Please create your DEB ID before starting the application process.
- Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in to access the registration forms.
- Step 2: After reaching the official portal, click on the option “Click here for new registration” and enter all the details asked such as username, password, email ID, and mobile number for completing registration.
- Step 3: After that, start the login process by clicking on the “Registered user login” on the right-hand side of the page and again fill in the username, password, and captcha.
- Step 4: Now you will receive a login ID on your registered mail ID. Use that ID to log yourself into the account.
- Step 5: If by chance any candidate forgets the username or password, they can reset it by clicking on Forgot Password or Forgot Username.
- Step 6: Now you will reach the page of the application form, select the course, and enter all the necessary details such as username, father’s name, registered mail ID, Registered mobile number, etc, and upload all the documents (mentioned below).
- Step 7: Once the application form is filled make the payment using credit card, debit card, and internet banking.
- Step 8: Just after the payment the candidate will receive a confirmation mail on their registered mail ID sent by the University. Don’t forget to keep a screenshot of the payment.
- Step 10: After submitting this application, eligible students can apply for Scholarships on the official website of the Government, i.e. scholarships.gov.in.
IGNOU BLIS Offline Admission Process 2025
Apart from filling out the admission forms online, applicants also have the option of submitting the application forms offline by:
Step 1: Visit the nearest IGNOU Regional Centre.
Step 2: The “Student Service Cells” at IGNOU regional center and study center provide the hardcopy of admission forms.
Step 3: Enter all the personal details in the application form and select the program (Bachelor of Preparatory Program).
Step 4: After filling out the admission form, submit the form and the hardcopy of the documents at the regional center with the application fee of INR 300 and course fees.

IGNOU BPP Admission Status 2025
Once the applicants fill out the admission forms offline or online, they can check the status of the admission by following the simple steps:
- Step 1: Candidates need to visit the admission checking portal of IGNOU.
- Step 2: Now, Enter the enrollment number which is provided by the University.
- Step 3: Don’t forget to select your program code.
- Step 4: Now, submit the form after entering the verification code.

IGNOU BPP Assignment 2025
The Assignment submission at Indira Gandhi National Open University is very important as the assignment submission has a weightage of 30% of the total marks. Applicants can submit the assignments online and offline by accessing the nearest study center or regional center. IGNOU Assignment submission 2025 last date was 31 May 2025 for the June TEE.
Applicants who are appearing for the BPP Term End Examination need to submit the assignment in any case if they will not submit the assignment then IGNOU will not allow them to sit in the Term End Examinations. At regional centers or study centers, candidates are advised to bind their assignments and submit the hard copy.
