IGNOU Bhopal Regional Centre: IGNOU has learners’ centres in all states of India, and Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh is no different. The IGNOU Bhopal Regional Centre was inaugurated in 1986, on 5th September, with the admission of 1756 students. Dr. Bini Toms works as the senior regional director at the Bhopal regional centre of the university.

As of now, Bhopal RC administers a total of 31 districts in Madhya Pradesh, which includes the cities like Vidisha, Ujjain, Hoshangabad, Indore, Jhabua, Khandwa, Khargone, Mandsaur, Sehore, Shajapur, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Agar Malwa, Badwani, Betul, Bhind, Bhopal, Alirajpur, Ashok Nagar, Raisen, Rajgarh, Ratlam, Dhar, Guna, Gwalior, Burhanpur, Datia, Dewas, Harda, Morena, and Neemuch.

For 30 years, this RC has provided great access to education in urban and rural areas to a vast number of students. IGNOU Bhopal Regional Centre comprises 66 learner support offices including 5 Learner Support Centre (J), 4 Special Learner Support Centres (S), 32 Learner Support Centre (P), and 25 Regular Learner Support Centres.

Latest Notification Related IGNOU Bhopal Regional Centre Admission 2025 

  • IGNOU Admission for the 2025-2026 July session will commence for all the offered courses from 12 May 2025* at the Bhopal RC. Interested individuals can apply on the official site before the deadline.
  • IGNOU will commence the Re-registration procedure at the Bhopal Regional centre for the July 2025 academic session, so students can apply for the IGNOU re-registration from 05 May 2025*.

IGNOU Bhopal Regional Centre Admission Updates 2025

IGNOU provides admission two times a year, in January and July at the Bhopal Regional Centre. For the 2025-26 session of July academic session, IGNOU admission will commence on 12 May 2025*, and it will continue until 30 June 2025* at the Bhopal RC. Students who couldn’t get time to apply before can now do so on the official portal, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Go through the admission system below to have a clear overview of the application process.

  • Visit the official URL of the IGNOU Bhopal Regional Centre rcbhopal.ignou.ac.in.
  • Once you are on the page, go directly to the “Students Corner” section and click on the “Admission” button.
  • Here, at the top right side of the screen click on “Student Services” and click on the “Admissions” button. In this section, click on the option for application.
  • You will be redirected to the website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
  • After reaching the website, register using details like your name, log in details, mobile number, email address, etc.
  • Next, login, enter the username and password and move to the application process.
  • Provide the required details on the online form, select a program you are willing to study, and upload the documents like educational proof, category certificate, scanned photograph signature of the candidate, and so on.
  • Lastly, pay the registration fee of Rs. 300 using a debit or credit card or through net banking.
