IGNOU Panaji Regional Centre: Porvorim, the administrative capital of Panaji, is situated on the left bank of the Mandovi River. The town is located on the right bank (north side) of the river. IGNOU established its Panaji regional centre at Alto Porvorim in 2009. The LSC (learner support centre) operates out of a leased building. Dr. Kameshwari Moorty oversees the department as the senior regional director.
As a suburb of Panaji, Porvorim is a residential hub on the Mumbai-Goa NH17 highway. The city is a couple of kilometers away from Panaji, and it’s well-connected by roads. The areas have fine infrastructure such as hotels, schools, and hospitals, and are developing at a good speed. In 2013, the town got its first mall.
The study centre comprises 10 active learner support offices, the jurisdiction includes the South and North Goa in the state. Other than that, the RC covers total 4 districts, like Maharashtra, Karnataka, and the state of Goa.

IGNOU Panaji Regional Centre Admission Updates 2025
At the Panaji Regional Centre IGNOU will commence the admission procedure for all the offered courses into the July 2025 academic session on 5 May 2025. Interested candidates are requested to apply before the tentative last date of 30 June 2025*. For the online application, the official link is ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Here, applicants have to complete the online form, and after covering a few steps they can easily enroll in their desired program at IGNOU Panaji RC. Admission to IGNOU Panaji Regional Centre courses can be done in two ways, offline or online. The offline method requires a visit to the RC, and submit the required documents with fees. On the other hand, the online system can be completed from your home or a cybercafe.

IGNOU Panaji Regional Centre Admission Process 2025
- The first thing a candidate needs to do is to venture to the regional centre link rcpanaji.ignou.ac.in.
- On the main page, under the “About Us” section click on “Link for ODL (Distance) Prog. for July 2025” and go to the application screen ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
- Next, register as a student on the portal using your name, set a username, enter your valid email address and mobile number, set a password, and register.
- You will get the login details, and with that verify your account under the “Registered user login” section. Provide the initials and click on “Login”.
- For the next part, fill out the form, choose the program you want to study, and upload the necessary documents, such as the scanned photograph and signature of the student, educational proof, category certificate, experience certificate, identity and address proof, and others.
- Make sure to pay the fee of Rs. 300 through debit or credit card or net banking.
