IGNOU Online BTS Course Details
The IGNOU BTS (Bachelor of Tourism) programme is offered online. The course is designed with a credit system; there will be 96 credits, and it is a 3-year graduation degree course. Students will learn the courses which are based on a foundation to an advanced level. Some of the course names are Foundation Course in Tourism, Management in Tourism, Ecology, Environment and Tourism, Fundamentals of Computer Systems, Basics of Event Management, Airport Handling and Project Work.
IGNOU BTS is a semester-based course. The assignments will be submitted in online form by email or online portal. IGNOU conducts the exam at the end of each semester. Candidates have to go to the exam centre to take the examination. The candidates can complete this course in a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years. The IGNOU admission portal for the Online BTS (Bachelor of Arts in Tourism) programme opens two times a year, in January and July. The admissions for the July session are going to start on 12 May 2025* and the last date to apply for Online BTS admission will be 30 June 2025*. IGNOU Online BTS Eligibility Criteria
The IGNOU BTS programme eligibility criteria are candidates who have passed the 10+2 level of education/its equivalent or the IGNOU BPP course; candidates can enrol in the course also. IGNOU BPP is a 6-month bachelor’s preparatory programme. The senior secondary education must be completed by a recognised board/institution.

The fee structure is different for national and international students. The IGNOU Online BTS course fee is INR 3,400 for national students and INR 6,000 for international students. These are the fee structures per year. Candidates have to submit the course fee with the registration fee. The exam fee is INR 200 which is not included in the course fee. - A new page will be open for the fee payment. Candidates can pay the fee via UPI, net banking system, credit or debit card.

- Take a printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
