Steps for the Admission Process for IGNOU BA Psychology

Step 1: Applicants are advised to visit the official website of IGNOU ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in to access the registration forms before the deadline which is 15 March 2026. 

Step 2: After reaching the official portal, an option will be visible on the left side of the page “Click here for new registration” Select that option and enter all the details asked such as username, password, email ID, and mobile number for completing registration.

Step 3: After Completing the registration process, come back to the homepage and start the login process by clicking on the “Registered user login” on the right-hand side. Again fill in the username, password, and captcha. 

Step 4: Now the University will send a login ID on your registered mail ID, Use that ID to log in yourself into the account.

Step 5: In any case, if a candidate doesn’t remember the username or password, they can reset it by clicking on Forgot Password. Click to Reset your Password or Forgot Username? Click to Reset your Username. 

Step 6: After completing all these steps, the candidate will reach the page of the application form. Start with selecting the course, and enter all the necessary details such as username, father’s name, registered mail ID, Registered mobile number, etc, and upload all the documents (mentioned below). 

Step 7: Make the payment using credit card, debit card, and internet banking. Don’t forget to keep a screenshot of the payment.

Step 8: Just after the payment the candidate will receive a confirmation mail on their registered mail ID sent by the University.

Step 9: After submitting this application, eligible students can apply for Scholarships on the official website of the Government, i.e.  scholarships.gov.in.
