IGNOU Srinagar Regional Centre: Courses List, Admission 2025, Contact Details

IGNOU Srinagar Regional Centre: The Indira Gandhi National Open University started the Srinagar Regional Centre in 1999 on the campus of the University of Kashmir. This regional center has started a fortnight session on every third and first Monday of every month for the counselors and the part-time workers of the program study centers (PSCs) and the Learner support centers (LSCs). Dr A. H. Rizvi is the senior regional director of this study facility.  

The IGNOU Srinagar Regional Centre started with only 1000 students and 4 programs. Now, the centre has over 50 thousand learners and the number of study centres has extended to 45. This consists of 1 special study center, 12 program study centers, and 32 regular study centers.

For the 2025 July academic session Indira Gandhi National Open University will commence the admission procedure at the Srinagar Regional Centre for all the offered courses. Individuals interested in taking admission to the Srinagar regional centre official portal http://rcsrinagar.ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU MSc Admission 2025

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will begin MSc admissions for the July 2025 session for all its specializations. Students can apply for the MSc program online or offline by visiting the university’s official website @ignou.ac.in. The last date to apply IGNOU MSc Admission 2025 for the July 2025 session will be 30 June 2025*.

At the time of admission process, students need to pay a registration fee along with part of the course fee. The application or registration fee for the MSc program is ₹300. Admission to the specialized IGNOU Master of Science programs is based on the marks in the qualifying degree.   • Applicants must have a UG degree in Mathematics with a minimum score of 50% marks can apply for the MSc Mathematics and Applications in Computer Science.

IGNOU MSc Zoology (MSCZOO) Admission 2025

IGNOU offers a Master of Science (MSc) in Zoology course admissions twice a year, in July and January. The program takes between 2 to 4 years to complete. During the course, students will study subjects like Molecular Cell Biology, Comparative Animal Physiology, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and more.

To be eligible, students need to have completed a BSc (Hons)/BSc (Major) in Zoology or a BSc (General/CBCS) where Zoology was one of the subjects. IGNOU Agartala Regional Centre: IGNOU Agartala Regional Centre is one of the authorized study centres under the North-East Educational Development Project established in 2001. The department was founded to cater to the increasing demand for standard higher education through distance learning mode in Tripura state.

The office is located in MBB College Compound, New Science Block, College Tilla, Agartala. The regional facility is 15 km away from Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport and only 2 km away from Agartala Railway Station. Dr. Biswajit Bhowmik is the appointed senior regional director at the centre.

IGNOU Cochin Regional Centre: The Indira Gandhi National Open University Regional Centre Cochin was established on 17 November 1988. The department was established to impart open and distance education in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep and in the state of Kerala. The head of the IGNOU Cochin RC is Dr. J S Dorothy.

The activities of the university in this region developed and the number of students improved in couple of years.   • Firstly, Visit the official portal of the IGNOU Cochin regional centre rccochin.ignou.ac.in
  • Next, from the homepage of the regional center’s official website, under the contact details section, click on the first moving notification to get redirected to the official Samarth portal, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
  • On the admission page, register using the required information, such as the name of the candidate, their valid email address, mobile number, and so on.
  • Login using the registered username and password to complete the account verification.
  • Fill out the online application form, and upload the documents such as the scanned educational certificates, scanned photograph and signature of the student, and other papers.
  • Select a program carefully, and make a payment of INR 300 using net banking, credit, or debit cards.
